The first trick or treating experience! Both Grandmas were on hand for the event! Zoey was not excited about the flower costume to start with but she eventually warmed up to it. We headed down the street to get some loot for mom and dad to eat! More video to follow this weekend!

I couldn't resist!
So I was going to wait to post pumpkin and costume pictures until later in the week but once I compared last years photo tho this years one I had to post it. While the size of the pumpkin is a bit different this year I'm still convinced that Zoey has either grown some or the hat shrunk.

Yeah, I went a little nuts with the whole pumpkin thing this year. Halfway through the process I was convinced that it was a bad idea. It was taking way too long and I was sure that it wasn't going to work. Well, what do you know?! I think you can actually make out what it is supposed to look like!

Some more firsts...
It has been a fun weekend! We had a few more firsts. Stay tuned for pumpkin carving and costume pictures later next week!
First time coloring!

First time on a horse...sort of. Roaring Rapids Pizza has a cool carousel that kids can ride. Thank goodness the ride is free because the pizza costs an arm and leg!

Thank You Aunt Christina and Go Beavs!
We got home from the grocery store today to find a large box on the doorstep. Zoey could not wait to get inside to open the box! It was a new birthday chair from Aunt Christina! Thank you Christina for such a nice gift!

Happy Birthday Pooper!
Zoey turned 1 today and so does our family! We celebrated with some grilled salmon, mashed potatoes, salad and cake of course. Zoey thanks you for all for the birthday wishes and generous gifts. As soon as Zoey learns to write she will be sending you thank you cards as well. I believe Zoey was just as confused as I was when she saw that Eryn put several candles on the cake. Apparently the tradition of candles matching the number of the actual birthday didn't hold true in the Kebbe household. Enjoy the cake pictures and believe it or not the food in Z's hair is mashed potatoes from dinner and not the cake.
